- Tack lifter - Used for levering tacks, small nails and pins out of wood.
- Template - Accurate shape or pattern cut from card or similar thin material, used as a guide for cutting or drilling.
- Tenon saw - A tenon saw is very good for preparing even simple joints. The back of the saw is braced with a heavy brass or steel support to keep the blade straight.
- Tile cutting pliers - These have hardened steel jaws which can be used to nibble away small pieces of tile when cutting intricate shapes in ceramic tiles.
- Tile scorer - Used with a try square, the tungsten carbide tip will score a straight line on the glazed surface of a ceramic tile for a clean break along the scored line.
- Tinsnips - Used for cutting thin sheet metal. Tinsnips are available in straight versions for cutting in straight lines, or curved for cutting left- and right-hand curves.
- Try square - Parallel-sided metal blade set at a right angle in a stock for accurate marking and checking for 90 degree angles.
